From IMDB: “The battered Mandalorian returns to his client for his reward.”
SO…A LOT of stuff happens in this episode. Some of it is major to the plot, but some of it is minor. So if you haven’t watched it yet, but just want my overall opinion, I’ll post it right under this blurb. If you don’t care for spoilers, or want to read the full review, I’ll post my likes/dislikes under the Mandalorian trailer.
Overall: I enjoyed this slower paced episode with big action sequences and more plot development than episode 2.

What I liked:
- The tribal/brotherhood proceedings between the Mandalorians. It added some strong depth to how they are and operate and was my favorite part of the episode.
- Unless I’m mistaken, did I hear Carl Weather’s character say “shit”??? Was that really an English swear word in a Star Wars production? Whoa!!
- Based on the first episode, I thought “Mando” was a racial slur/derogatory term, but Carl Weather’s character calls our main character “Mando” as well, like it’s a nickname. Or maybe it is a slur that kind of became a nickname?
- Loved the slasher movie sequence. It’s like Mando was ’80s Schwarzenegger and Stallone COMBINED.
What I didn’t like:
- So in the last review (my Episode 2 review here), I mentioned how much I enjoyed the Mandalorian’s rust color/chrome combination armor……..and then they change it this episode. Great. Now he looks like Jango Fett. Bleh.
- This episode got a little too cheesy for me.
